How GST is calculated
Adding GST: GST = Amount × Rate ÷ 100, and Total = Amount + GST.
Removing GST: Base price = Inclusive amount × 100 ÷ (100 + Rate), and GST = Inclusive amount − Base price.
Within a state, GST is split equally into CGST and SGST. For sales between states, the full amount is charged as IGST.
